International benchmarks for crude oil rebounded on Thursday, 8 September 2022 after hitting seven-month lows in the previous session after Russia threatened to halt exports to some buyers. Besides, technical traders also returned to catch the dip, supporting the upswing.

Brent rose $1.15 or 1.3% to close at $89.15/barrel.

WTI added $1.60 or 2% to close at $83.54/barrel.
