Nylon 6 is a crystalline material which is tough, resilient and creep resistance under dynamic loads. Nylon 6 has similar physical, chemical and electrical properties to Nylon 66. However, Nylon 6 has a good surface appearance and lower melting point than Nylon 66. And Nylon 6 has a lower modulus and absorbs moisture more rapidly than Nylon 66, and hence the moisture acts as a plasticizer and reduces its tensile strength and stiffness and increasing elongation.

Application: Automotive side mirror housing, firearm components, circuit breakers, pulleys and gears, bearings, power tools housings, thread in bristles, strings for acoustic and classical musical instruments and etc.
