Kim Sheng Plastic Anti-Rust Bags are a PE-film manufactured plastic with hi-tech resins impregnated with VCI chemicals. This plastic is designed to protect both ferrous & non-ferrous metals against corrosion. Packing metals in VCI films are an effective way to prevent metal parts from all types of corrosion (rust, stains, white rust and oxidation) for up to 24 months. The VCI film protects metal via direct contact and vaporization. This occurs when the VCI’s vaporize and then settle onto the metal surface, thus blocking moisture from reaching parts such as drilled holes and recess areas. In addition, metal parts packed in VCI films are also protected from salt, humidity and condensation at various industrial environments.

VCI films are not only able to directly replace conventional rust preventive methods like the use of oils and desiccants, they also eliminate hidden costs such as cleaning activities. Besides that, the films are environmentally friendly because their use eliminates the need for harmful pollutants, such as decreasing agents and dessicants.
