The FM and AM come in clear. The Shortwave has some channels clearer than others, but I still can get channels 1000mi/1400km away. Shortwave depends on time of day and ionosphere conditions (solar winds). No Bluetooth as far as I see. It does read SD cards, but I haven't tried it. LED light is bright enough for a family or common room so you can see what you're doing. Size is good. I haven't done solar charging yet, but it's nice to know you can have the rechargeable battery and two standard D-cell batteries in at the same time. The speaker gets very loud as well. Good product for money spent.

Second one i've bought as it is just so handy for listening to the fm radio whilst working outdoors. Even in the winter months it would work for hours probably because it is kept close to a south facing window. Usb memory stick with mp3 songs works like a charm (albeit in mono). First one is now in the bathroom. Highly recommended.
